Where Full is available
Meta’s current availability table lists Wonder Full in Muse Code on the Power Usage and Maximum Usage subscriptions. It does not offer Full on Meta Model API. Regular Wonder is available through the API and through Muse Code. This distinction matters when a comparison page says only “Wonder”.
| Choice | What it changes | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Wonder Full | A separately available model variant | An API token tariff |
| Maximum Usage | A subscription allowance tier | An API model named Wonder Max |
| Reasoning effort max | A setting on an eligible regular model | Selection of Wonder Full |
| Contributor mode | Content-use terms and usage benefit | A free or self-hosted Full release |
Subscription costs and your own app
The subscription pricing guide keeps the observed monthly offers and plan allowances in one place. Confirm the offer displayed during your regional checkout. Do not convert a prompt allowance into a guaranteed number of API tokens: task length and model usage differ.
Meta separates the credential connected during Muse Code onboarding from additional API keys. Additional keys use pay-as-you-go billing. If a team buys Code subscriptions and also ships an API-backed product, keep those budgets separate. A Full subscription is not a flat-rate backend for arbitrary API traffic.
Contributor mode and content handling
Muse Code subscriptions default to Contributor mode under the current documentation. Its usage benefit is tied to permission to use submitted content for model training, and the setting can be turned off. Evaluate the setting using the content you intend to submit, rather than treating it solely as a discount.
Wonder has no Contributor-priced variant on Meta Model API. Do not construct a guessed muse-wonder-contributor identifier from a Spark example. Check the provider’s catalog and the mode shown in your actual account.
Before upgrading for Full
- Confirm the selected plan explicitly includes Full in your region.
- Check that your workload will run in Muse Code rather than an additional API key.
- Keep regular Wonder max-effort runs separate from Full runs in any evaluation.
- Read the usage refresh rules before a long unattended task.
- Record whether Contributor mode is enabled before submitting repository content.
For price-sensitive API jobs, compare regular Wonder against Spark versions using representative tasks. A subscription and a token-based API are different billing products; a larger plan multiplier alone does not determine the cheaper choice.
